Feature Module approximates a part of plygon data to a simple shape such as plane, sphere column, and so on. It also can trim the shape. The dimension of the featured shape can be viewed and modified before exported as IGES file, which is a primitive shape for CAD. If combined with surfacing module explained on another page, high quality practical CAD data having geometrical shape and free surface& is quickly produced.
